It is understand that V.Chandran is a member of MIC whereas Johan Md Diah is a member of Umno.

A private tutor, J. Anuraadhaa who plans to fight as an independent candidates failed to submit her nomination papers. She claimed that she was blocked by authorities. J. Anuraadhaa was also the former Wanita MIC leader. Her father, S. Jeyasingam was the founder of the MIC Hulu Selangor division some over 30 years back.
“Now, I pledge that we will throw our support behind the PR. The PR can do the job,” she declared.
