Don't Move The Parliament!

I still remember on May 27 our minister, Datuk Seri Idris Jala said that the government should start cutting down the subsidies, if not by 2019 Malaysia could go bankrupt. And now, the cabinet decided to build a new Parliament in Putrajaya which will cost RM 800 million and the current building will be restored and maintained as a heritage building.

I really do not understand why a new Parliament building is needed. RM 800 million is not a small sum. Government should use it more efficiently on some projects that will benefit the rakyat especially the poors. And the government should not forget even if the current building to be preserved as heritage building, the building still needs to be maintenanced. And probably the government needs another few millions for that every year.

Government had spent a lot to repair and renovate the Parliament building. On 2005, RM 90 million was used for leakage, interior restoration and renovation. Two years later, another RM 12 million was used for repairs of second leakage. And now, the government needs another RM 150 million to fix the roof and electrical wiring.

The government, all MPs and all elected representatives should always remember that they are the wakil rakyat. They should always think for the rakyat first in all the decision they make and not for they own ‘comfortability’. ‘People First, Performance Now’! The government should take care the welfare of the people first!

"Malaysia will be BANKRUPT in 9 years!"

"Malaysia will be bankrupt in 9 years" - Idris Jala

Idris Jala, a government minister warned that Malaysia will become the next Greece and will be bankrupt in 9 years. So, now the government is trying to cut off the subsidies slowly.
I think cutting off the subsidies is one of the way to ensure that Malaysia will not be bankrupt BUT the people will suffer. There are a few other ways that I think it will be more efficient to improve our country's deficit. The first way, No Corruption! The people suffer just because of corruption! The second way, allocate the resources efficiently. Our government had wasted a lot of money for elections. Anyone knows how much had our government used for all the 'buy-elections' since March 2008? I got no idea.
It is seriously a big joke to hear that Malaysia, a country which is rich of resources will go bankrupt. I know that the two ways that I mention is impossible in Malaysia unless there is a CHANGE. So Malaysians, get ready to go BANKRUPT!!!

"Non-Bumiputras will not be able to compete with Bumiputras"

"Non-Bumiputras will not be able to compete with Bumiputras" - This is what an officer in charge of the matriculation department told a student whom I will known him as Mr L.
Mr L applied for matriculation and he failed. He went to meet this officer in charge to ask why he is not qualified for a place in matriculation. The officer calculated his marks for SPM and co-curriculum and show him that he did not meet the requirements and hence he is not qualified. Mr L argued that why a friend of his, who is a Malay that got a lower grade than his are able to get a place for matriculation. The officer in charge ended the conversation with "Non-Bumiputras will not be able to compete with Bumiputras".
As everyone knows, for matriculation the government sets 90% quota for 'Bumiputras' and the other 10% for non-Bumi. Is this means that those 'non-qualified' students will also be given places for matriculation just to fill up the 90%? This caused those excellent students who can't get scholarships and a place in matriculation went study abroad. I think this is also one of the reasons that causes the drop of ranking of Malaysian Universities.
I know that this issue is quite sensitive and I'm not questioning about the special privileges for Malays as this is stated in the Article 153 of Federal Constitution. I respect their special privileges as I respect the Constitution. But I hope that at least for education, every Malaysians will be given the same equal rights. And I also hope that the concept of 1 Malaysia brought up by our Prime Minister is not just a SLOGAN!

No to GST!!!

Today, 1st May, the Labour Day! About 500 people protesting the proposed Goods and Services Tax (GST) marched to the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall this morning. Six people was arrested by the police during the demonstration.

I really do not understand why police want to arrest them. Malaysia is a democracy country. Every Malaysian has the right to fight for their RIGHTS! Goods and Services Tax(GST) will only make the poor become poorer. Does the BN government wants the people to become poorer?
GST, 'Government-Screwing Tax'. The government is trying to screw everyone up!
Malaysians, stand up to fight for your RIGHTS!!!
Say NO to GST! HIDUP RAKYAT! HIDUP PEKERJA!

Who is the BIGGEST Loser?

Sorry readers, I'm busy last few days, so I can't blog.
Okay, I think I will not talk much about the Hulu Selangor by-election or some called as 'buy-election'. As everyone knows BN won in the 'buy-election' with the majority of 1725 votes. So did it meant that Pakatan Rakyat had lost in the by-election? For BN, of course PR had lost. Some people will say PR lost but with dignity. And of course there will be people who said PR did not lost, because BN had used a lot of money to 'BUY' the votes.
DAP veteran leader, Lim Kit Siang even said that MCA is the biggest loser in the Hulu Selangor by-election. In the 2008 general election, MCA secured 37% of the Chinese voters in Hulu Selangor but it had fallen to 25%-28% in the Hulu Selangor by-election.
So who is the biggest loser in the by-election? BN? PR? MCA? I have a totally different view from all these politicians. I think that the biggest loser in the by-election is the PEOPLE! Why? It is because, the government had used a lot of money on this by-election. Anwar Ibrahim claimed that BN had used over RM 100 million to win a thin majority in Hulu Selangor: that amounts to RM 65,000 per person. I do not know whether the amount claimed by Anwar accurate or not but what I know is that these politicians had used a lot of money to ensure their victory. REMEMBER, this money is not belong to any of the political parties or government, THE MONEY BELONG TO THE PEOPLE!!! And because of the by-election, the government used the resources inefficiently, just to ensure their VICTORY!!! The PEOPLE are the losers!
But I think that the biggest losers are those who changed their mind or got cheated by those politicians' 'sweets'. Those who changed their mind to vote for the other political party just merely because of the 'sweets' had not only betrayed themselves but had also betrayed other voters, the people of Selangor and all the citizens of Malaysia. These people are the BIGGEST LOSER for they had lost their DIGNITY!!!

Don't Assassinate ME!!!

Datuk Zaid Ibrahim the Pakatan Rakyat candidate for the by-election of Hulu Selangor has been the target of attacks on his character.
In the list of accusations that Zaid is facing, he is branded an alcoholic, an advocate of gambling and a womaniser — all of which are frowned upon in Islam. Zaid admitted to the media that he drank alcohol in the past but quickly added that he has since repented and is now a changed person. http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/index.php/malaysia/60363-zaid-recants-past-pkr-confident-he-has-reformed

Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam from BN also attacked Elizabeth Wong on her photo scandal at a ceramah yesterday.
"Ada juga yang nak bela Elizabeth Wong, yang terlanjang bogel. Betul tak? Siapa dah tengok gambar dia?," soalnya yang disambut dengan gelak ketawa daripada hadirin. http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/129505

As what I said, I'm not belong to any political party. But I totally disagree with the act of Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam and some BN political leaders that make character assassination. Especially in the Elizabeth Wong's photo scandal, I think those who see and make fun of the photos are the one who is immoral. If Datuk Zaid had already repented, he should be forgave.

In the Bible, God says, "And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins" (Mark 11:25).

"The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong." -Mahatma Gandhi

4-Cornered Fight!!!

Pakatan Rakyat’s (PR) Datuk Zaid Ibrahim will defend the Hulu Selangor parliamentary seat against Barisan Nasional’s (BN) P. Kamalanathan and two independents — V. Chandran and Johan Md Diah — in the April 25 by-election. http://themalaysianinsider.com/index.php/malaysia/60237-crowds-swarm-kkb-ahead-of-nominations
It is understand that V.Chandran is a member of MIC whereas Johan Md Diah is a member of Umno.
Independent candidates Johan Mohd Diah and VS Chandran will be sacked by Umno and MIC for contesting the Hulu Selangor by-election. http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/129451
A private tutor, J. Anuraadhaa who plans to fight as an independent candidates failed to submit her nomination papers. She claimed that she was blocked by authorities. J. Anuraadhaa was also the former Wanita MIC leader. Her father, S. Jeyasingam was the founder of the MIC Hulu Selangor division some over 30 years back.
“Now, I pledge that we will throw our support behind the PR. The PR can do the job,” she declared. Anuraadhaa claimed that she had the support of at least 6,000 of the constituency’s Indian voters. http://themalaysianinsider.com/index.php/malaysia/60282-turned-away-from-contesting-tutor-pledges-6000-votes-to-pr

Now, who will win? We will need to wait until the by-election to know the result.

Dr.Pornthip will come to testify?

Dr.Pornthip is willing to testify in Teoh Beng Hock's inquest if there is a guarantee by Malaysian government on her safety. ‘I'm willing to go if there is an official guarantee from the Malaysia government and the AG's Chambers...'
http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/129106

The Selangor government welcomed the news that the Thai pathologists is willing to testify at Teoh's inquest. “We welcome the news and we are taking steps to contact the Thai Ministry of Justice.” said one of the officials.
http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/index.php/malaysia/59850-pornthip-makes-about-turn-now-willing-to-testify

So will the Dr.Death come to testify in Teoh's inquest? Will the truth be revealed?
Let us continue to pray for Teoh Beng Hock!

JUSTICE FOR TEOH BENG HOCK!!!

Datuk Zaid will be fighting for PKR

Datuk Zaid Ibrahim will be the PKR candidate for the Hulu Selangor by-election. Who is the candidate for BN? Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu’s choice — Datuk G. Palanivel — or the Umno-backed V. Mugilan?
Looks like MIC is having trouble in choosing their candidate. Datuk Zaid will be a very strong candidate.
Who will win in the by-election?

You Better BE CAREFUL!!!

Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim today urged Datuk Seri Nazri 'to be careful' with his remarks for calling Dr.Pornthip a liar.
"Diplomatically it’s not a good idea to call those outside our country liars,” the Selangor Mentri Besar said in response to Nazri’s comments.
http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/index.php/malaysia/59572-selangor-mb-cautions-law-minister-on-liar-remarks

You LIAR!

Mohd Nazri said Dr.Pornthip is a liar. He said that Dr.Pornthip had lied in the inquest and now she is lying again(that she is pressurized). Mohd Nazri called Dr.Pornthip a liar!
http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/128862

An aide from Menteri Besar's office says that apart from convincing Pornthip to reconsider, video conferencing is the only option that has popped out.
The lawyer for Selangor government, Malik Imtiaz Sarwar refused to make any comment.

Dr.Pornthip will not be testifying at Teoh Beng Hock inquest

"Renowned Thai pathologist Dr Pornthip Rojanasunand will not be testifying at the Teoh Beng Hock inquest when it resumes hearing on April 20 citing “political pressure” from the Malaysian government." - http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/128846

I'm really dissapointed with the Malaysian government. This proved that MACC and the Malaysian government is trying to 'hide' something.

Pakatan Rakyat or Barisan Nasional

Who will win in the by-election of Hulu Selangor? Pakatan Rakyat or Barisan Nasional?

In the 2008 general election, the late Dr. Zainal Abidin Ahmad from PKR won the Hulu Selangor parliamentary seat from G.Palanivel, MIC with a small majority of 198 votes.
